Short Avenue Elementary in Marina Del Rey will be hosting a free fall concert on the lawn featuring members of the Del Rey Community Jazz Band at the upcoming food truck fiesta community event on Wednesday October 21, 2015. The Food Truck Fiesta features some of Los Angeles’ finest food trucks each month to help raise funds for the various activities of the Friends of Short Avenue non-profit group.
This season’s weather has brought some very warm temperatures so it’s the perfect time to keep those appliances cool and head on over for a family dinner! Joining us to serve tasty and eclectic street food will be the following gourmet food trucks: Canvas Foods, The Tackle Box and Recess Truck. There will be a variety of unique and delicious food to choose from including: burgers, wraps, brisket, po boys, chicken strips, tacos, vegetarian and vegan options as well as ice cream cookie sandwiches, banana splits, sundaes and much more for dessert!
Find the trucks out by the front lawn, be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to dine al fresco with your best classmates, neighbors and community. All are welcome to attend, eat and have a blast, you’ll feel good about it, too your dollars go to a great cause! This event is free for all to attend!
