Short Avenue Elementary in Marina Del Rey will be hosting another a free holiday jazz concert on the lawn featuring members of the Del Rey Community Jazz Band at the upcoming food truck fiesta community event on Wednesday December 16, 2015. The Food Truck Fiesta features some of Los Angeles’ finest food trucks each month to help raise funds for the various activities of the Friends of Short Avenue non-profit group.
As the temperature drops and we get closer to winter, it’s recommended you bring jackets, as well as flashlights and lanterns. Joining us to serve warm, tasty and eclectic street food will be the following gourmet food trucks: La Panini Grill and Marcel Waffles. There will be a variety of unique and delicious food to choose from including: paninis, wraps, pastas, burgers and fries, as well as dessert -belgium waffles and liege waffles with fruit, savory, ice cream toppings and more. Also available hot chocolate and coffee to keep you warm!
Find the trucks out by the front lawn, be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to dine al fresco with your best classmates, neighbors and community. All are welcome to attend, eat and have a blast and even if you can’t stick around then take your meal to go,a portion of the food truck sales benefit a great cause! This event is free for all to attend!
