Come out to Canfield Avenue Elementary School in West Los Angeles where they will be launching a new monthly food truck event starting on a special night, Wednesday January 22, 2014. The monthly event will take place the last Wednesday of the month starting in February (unless noted otherwise).
Located in the very diverse Beverlywood neighborhood of West Los Angeles, the Kosher Palate will be the monthly resident alongside a rotation of some of LA’s finest food trucks. Joining the Kosher Palate this month will be The Greasy Wiener, Komodo Food and Sweets E Bake Shop.
A portion of sales from the food trucks will be donated to the Friends of Canfield . The Friends of Canfield is a non-profit organization that consists of parents and residents of the local community of Beverlywood in West Los Angeles to support, enhance and enrich the educational environment of Canfield Avenue Elementary School.
Find the trucks out in the front of Airdrome Street. Be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to dine al fresco by the picnic tables with your best classmates, neighbors and community.
All are welcome to attend, eat and have a blast, you’ll feel good about it, too –your dollars go to a great cause!
Dress warm as it may be a bit chilly outside!
