Darby Avenue Charter Elementary in Northridge will be hosting their first Heritage Fair and Silent Auction on Friday April 25, 2014. This event will feature several of Darby Charter’s students performing as well as participating dancers from Ballet Folkorico Mexico Azteca Group, the San Fernando Valley Indian Dance Group and other local performance groups, including the Granada Hills High Marching Band and more!
This event is open to everyone to attend the cultural dances, shop their annual Silent Auction, as well as face painting and crafts with the local YMCA. Got Food Trucks
has organized the following savory gourmet food trucks for the event for all to enjoy including Tokyo Doggie Style
and Lobos Truck
. Dessert will also be available from Kona Ice
It’s a great opportunity to learn about these rich cultural heritages, spend time with your fellow classmates, neighbors and families while supporting our local schools (Darby)!
A portion of the food truck sales will be donated back to the Darby PTA.
