Short Avenue Elementary in Marina Del Rey is hosting another food truck community gathering during the summer break on Wednesday July 15, 2015. The Food Truck Fiesta features some of Los Angeles’ finest food trucks each month to help raise funds for the various activities of the Friends of Short Avenue non-profit group. There will be lawn games set up during the summer months to keep the kids entertained as well.
As the weather finally starts to heat up as we reach the mid summer mark we’ll have some terrific food trucks joining the event: The Hurricane Kitchen, Phillyfornia and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream. There will be a variety of tasty food to choose from including: burgers, pulled pork and salmon sandwiches, cheese steak sandwiches, melts, specialty fries, vegetarian and vegan options as well as artisan ice cream and sorbet!
Find the trucks out by the front lawn, be sure to bring your blankets and lawn chairs to dine al fresco with your best classmates, neighbors and community. All are welcome to attend, eat and have a blast, you’ll feel good about it, too your dollars go to a great cause! This event is free for all to attend!
