Take a stroll along Pico Blvd and visit our unique and independent merchants, along with live music, art, store sales and other activities taking place with our participating retailers. Don’t forget to pick up those last-minute gifts for both dads and grads!

“WALK THE BOULEVARD” and “MEET ME ON PICO”, come out and meet new friends, neighbors and see what this great community has to offer! This is the perfect event for the entire family!

Don’t forget while you visit our shops to also grab a bite from some of the best food trucks in Los Angeles. This month’s gourmet food trucks include an eclectic and unique menu offerings that you can only find on Pico Blvd including: Cousins Maine Lobster, The Lobos Truck, Burnt To A Crisp Texas Smokehouse, Phillyfornia, Woodys Grill Truck and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream! Seafood, burgers, bbq, cheese steak sammies, fish tacos, handcrafted ice cream and much more, save your appetite to try out all the different food trucks who will be parked along Pico Blvd between Carmona and Burnside.

Short Avenue Elementary Summer Food Truck Fiesta in Marina Del Rey will be hosting an ongoing series during the summer to celebrate the summer break on Wednesday June 17, 2015. The Food Truck Fiesta features some of Los Angeles’ finest food trucks each month to help raise funds for the various activities of the Friends of Short Avenue non-profit group. There will be lawn games set up during the summer months to keep the kids entertained as well.

This month as we get over June Gloom and welcome in summer we’ll have some of our favorite food trucks joining the event: The Lobos Truck, Say Fish Taco and Sweet E’s Bakeshop. There will be a variety of tasty food to choose from including: burgers, fish tacos, carnitas, burritos, wings, mac and cheese, specialty fries, vegetarian and vegan options as well as kosher dessert – cupcakes, brownies, cookies and much more!

Find the trucks out by the front lawn, be sure to bring your blankets, jackets and lawn chairs to dine al fresco with your best classmates, neighbors and community. All are welcome to attend, eat and have a blast, you’ll feel good about it, too your dollars go to a great cause! This event is free for all to attend!
